How it is used
From normal access to maintenance.
During production, an operator requests access with the permission button; the interlock releases the gate once the hazard has stopped. Inside the cell, the panic escape lever always opens the gate. For maintenance, the handle accepts personal padlocks so the cell cannot be restarted while someone is inside.

Can the handle set be used on sliding gates?
Yes. The handle set is designed for the Genmacs gate range, including swing and sliding gates.
What is the panic escape lever for?
It lets anyone inside the guarded area open the gate without a key or tool, so nobody can be trapped inside a locked cell.
Does the handle include the interlock switch?
The handle set is built to work with safety door switches with solenoid locked or unlocked actuators; the switch is selected for your safety circuit.
